Feature Designer

January 2021-Present

  • Part of the founding team for the startup working on a looter survival shooter game(Project B.L.A.C.K)

  • Produced project documentation, including pre-production, pitch, idea boards and proof of concept documents, adhering to strict timeframes 

  • Working on features according to the game’s overarching vision

  • Worked on researching and creating visual specs for the engineers and artists using mock-ups/required medium

  • Collaborating with engineers and artists through sprints to ensure features are  implemented into the game

  • Creating level blockouts to fit the gameplay including terrains. Also, set up and deployed the pipeline for the level design

  • Auditing the game to confirm development is according to the design and finding issues/missing aspects.

● Created and implemented entire level layout, assets (Maya) and mission design, operating as Lead Level
Designer within a group project devising a Metroidvania-style first-person shooter game, focusing on
discovering an artefact on an alien planet
